1. LIGHT EXERCISE BEFORE AND AFTER THE MEAL-When you eat the calorie- and fat-laden meal, your triglyceride levels become elevated and you blood sugar spikes. This can lead to a feeling of malaise. So do some walking before and after. A brisk ouTdoor walk can help digest food and give you some fresh air.
2. DRINK WATER ALL DAY- This will give you a feeling of fullness so you will not be too tempted to overindulge.
3. START THE MEAL WITH EXTRA SMALL PORTIONS-That way, when you go back for seconds, you're not overeating.
4. MAKE SOME FOOD SWAPS-Start with the veggies/salad to signal your fullness faster and longer.For example, Choose white skinless meat over dark meat. Choose fresh steamed green beans over green bean casserole.
